User Control written in C# reference in Plain HTML(webpage.html)

 Hi Guru's,

    Greetings to all! It is possible to use a user control written in c# in plain HTML? If yes, how can i reference it? I tried but it now showing up. Thanks.

nope, an ASP.NET user control will have to require an ASP.NET engine to process that code.

if your concern is running an ASP.NET web site in a non-Windows platform, perhaps you can take a look at the Mono Project Wink google for it.
