    Blacklisted Employee Database

Ask ko lang if there is such thing as blacklisted employee database dito sa Pilipinas... A friend of mine is trying na huag na tumuloy sa company na pinagtratrabahuan niya. Ayun mismo sa kanya, it is either di niya natatanggap yung mga supposedly allowances nia, at the same time, nasa 60% lang ng salary nia nakukuha niya. He really wanted to leave the company soon, kaso baka mablacklist siya at malaman ng ibang company. Meron bang tipong blacklist employee database dito sa Pilipinas...

    Re: Blacklisted Employee Database

First of all, no such thing exists.

If leaving constitutes a breach of contract, there is NO LAW THAT ALLOWS COMPANIES TO HOLD EMPLOYEES BY THE NECK. Even employment bonds or those crap are just lip service -- I haven't heard of anybody who was relentlessly pursued by employers for leaving with an unpaid bond, and even if there were there are some employees who would gladly pay for a potential employee's existing bonds.

Seriously, I find this question preposterously... naive.

HINDI MO UTANG LOOB SA ISANG KUMPANYA ANG PAGKAKAROON NG TRABAHO. And if you're in IT, jumping from one job to another is the rule rather than the exception. Tell him to stop being a stupid martyr.

    Re: Blacklisted Employee Database

a company that really values confidentiality will divulge only the following:

    • that the employee was truly employed from such date to such date,
    • that the employee held such position

any other info such as compensation, achievements or even memos/reprimands are confidential and should not be divulged to any third party.

    Hi,

Ask ko lang what if nakabond ka? Pwede mo silang layasan since d sila nagbabayad ng tax and SSS mo? I know someone na ganyan, natatakot sya umalis dahil nga may bond sya.

    Re: Blacklisted Employee Database

Yun din po isa sa mga checklists ng mga employees when it comes to finding their companies they are getting into. Well compensation and no bond contract is a good first impression. From what I know, ang blacklist is kung applicant ka sa company at di ka lagi natutuloy for interviews.

    Re: Blacklisted Employee Database

To answer your question if there is a blacklist employee database sa Pilipinas, from an HR perspective - yes. Some companies keep records of previous employees who have committed grave mistakes as per company policy. Common examples are sexual harassment, drug addiction, AWOL, etc. Now, these information are confidential. Companies don't release such information, EXCEPT when other companies do background check to these employees.
