Hello there guys, need some help regarding this matter and comments/ idea how this error can be solve? This is the scenario, the system has a report module on which it will generate a report date range and it was already working when I tested it on my local hard drive and have a server also with temporary server machine however when my boss planned to deploy it with different server machine the report module not worked anymore. I was using here a Report Server in SQL Server 2005.

Hi blink_1106,
The error you got is a generic error message from Reporting Services. Try enabling remote errors first so that you can see whats the underlying error in the report

I had the same issue before and it was due to connection timeout to my server.
