Emerson Openings: C++ Developers (3 Open Positions)

Emerson Process Management is in need of C++ developers with the following requirements:

    * At least 4 years software development experience
    * At least 1 year recent software development experience in the Microsoft Windows environment using C++ with technologies such as MFC, Win32 and ATL
    * Visual C++, MFC, Win32, ATL, COM
    * Experience with visual Source Safe or other code control software


The position will have the following responsibilities:

    * Implement products from direction given by Project Manager and Technical Lead
    * Build on prototypes and use cases developed by the project team; generate new use cases
    * Write software requirements specifications (SRS), software design documents (SDD), and unit test plans (UTP)
    * Improve existing legacy code for integration with newer technologies
    * Develop object classes; conduct unit level testing; system level integration testing
    * Correct reported software discrepancies
    * Keep skills current with new technologies
    * Participate in quality audits
