ClassicReports for .NET

ClassicReports for .NET is a set of controls designed to help ease the creation, display and printing of dot-matrix reports in your .NET2 applications.  It works with C#, VB.NET, Boo and any other CLR hosted languages.

this looks interesting and attractive for a project i'm doing which involves printing to old epson printers. any chance you could also provide a documentation?

For now just look at the sample project and peruse my blog entries on ClassicReport. I just can't find the time to write a decent user manual. By the way you can find the latest version here: http://devpinoy.org/blogs/smash/archive/2007/05/11/classicreport-does-xps.aspx

Outstanding, this was exactly what I was looking for. Mr Rull pointed me to your app, after asking if he knew about a text report template system and this is even 1 step better, since your providing the template generator. Great job, going to use this to generate some report to be transmitted over a modem to a dot matrix printer. I've not dug deep into the code yet (other than generating a few fictious reports), but I was curious if there would be anything limiting my ability to generate the reports to a text file through a console application? Thanks!!!!

I dont think you will have problems generating reports thru a console application. You may download the source code at http://code.google.com/p/classicreports4net/source/checkout
