ATTENTION: I've decided to put the upgrade on hold due to a compatibility issue of our server environment with the latest CS installer package. CS 2008 now requires SQL Server 2005 as the backend DB but our database server currenlty has SQL Server 2000 installed on it. I'll resume the upgrade once I figure out when Telligent is releasing a patch to the schema compatibility issue. For now, we will continue to use the old version of CS while waiting for the said patch. If you have any questions about this process, please don't hesitate to post them on our forums and I'll answer them as soon as I can. Thanks for your patience and support guys! I'll let you know as soon as this is resolved. - Keith Rull

Is it the right time to quit your job?

Everyone of us who works in a dynamic IT industry , in some way or the other , been thinking about pursuing another job in another company or may have lost interest to their current work . I myself is in the process of evaluating everything , trying to make sure that whatever I will do to my career is well planned and accounted for .

In relations to resign patterns , i have been in a dilemna of trying to decide when is the best time to leave my current job . Like any somewhat-geek would do , i called my bestfriend , Mr. Google. Generously , like he always does ,he gave me a series of points to ponder from different sites . Read on and ask yourself , "Have I seen these signs?".

It's really up to you. Seriously though, what's making you consider leaving your current employer?

Theoretically speaking, companies want loyal employees who would think of staying with them till the very end. The truth though is once they're through with you they'd be willing to let you go. It then all comes down to you in the end. Yeah, there are loyalty bonuses but who wants to be an employee all their life?

The right questions is not when. But what is stopping you from doing so? #6 is right, weigh the pros and cons. Make sure that  the pros far outweigh the cons.
