Composed Method Pattern

Some people swear that they would rather see all the code in line,
rather than separated out into small methods. I think that the

i think this kind of thinking was applicable during the early times when doing a procedure/method call took precious CPU cycles. doing things inline made stuff faster, depending on how many times that method is called in a tight loop or processing sequence. now that the performance overhead of doing a CALL/RET is almost negligible, it's much better to code for readability and maintainability than (barely better) performance.
