VS 2008 and .NET 3.5 Beta 2 Released

So for those of you aching to try the new partial methods feature this is your chance. You can access it here.

Scott Guthrie has a post about the features and an installation note to prevent your older asp.net ajax applications from having a dependency on the asp.net ajax binaries that come with beta 2 instead of the one you originally installed.

i fear that eventually the C# language will be flooded with all these features that will only make it complex...

a lot of people express the same concern. like the ones on theserverside www.theserverside.net/.../thread.tss.

.Net 3.5 will bring in a lot of interesting stuff like extension methods and linq. i personally am not very fond of partial methods. specially when they say that they target code generators as users of is. a language feature for code generators? they got to be kidding us. anonymous types i have mixed feelings on it. anyway.

so yeah i share the same concerns.

I guess language changes are the only thing that they can do now.

At least, they're putting in something that's interesting. I got my eye on lambdas and extension methods.

Malapit ko na matapos i download VS 2008 and .NET 3.5 Beta 2 Released. Webforms meron na sample see scottgu's blog.
